THE SOLUTION:
Scan your essential documents and export them to a cloud drive or email them to yourself for safe keeping before you travel. That includes I.D., passport, credit cards, hotel and flight information, and important contact numbers.
*When traveling internationally, I also recommend that you email a copy to a trustworthy confidant.
