What the heck is geode hair?? As a former natural blonde, I visit the salon frequently to keep the platinum in tact. I also like a bit of edge to my hair, so I usually have some bright colors put in as well.
That time my hair was pretty in pink!
Scrolling
through pinterest provides a TON of ideas for new hair colors and combos, but
it can be overwhelming. Fortunately, the salon I attend is owned and staffed
with the best hair artists around. As in, I don’t even have to decide what I
want done with my hair. I let them decide for me!
The last
time I sat in the chair, my stylist told me that the next time I come in I MUST
have geode hair! Sounded good – I told her I was game.

A couple
of weeks ago I realized, I don’t even know what geode hair is! I have complete
faith in my hair artists, so I had agreed sight unseen. I decided to search the
term, and wow, is it trending!
That time I had peacock hair!
So what
exactly is geode hair? Inspired by the colors and pattern of those colors in
actual geode rocks, the hair artist brings their interpretation to the client’s
hair, in bold and stunning shades.
I’ve gotta
say, I’m pretty excited to see what my hair looks like when my stylist’s done
with it. I like to be unique, and geode hair definitely fits the bill!
